Privacy Policy
Last updated October 4, 2026.
The short version: we keep your notes so the app works, we do not sell anything about you, there are no ads, and you can delete everything yourself at any time.
1. Who we are
Bravogram (bravogram.com) is a voice note app run from California, USA. In this policy, “we” means the people who run it. You can reach us with the form at the bottom of this page.
2. What we collect
- Your account: the email address, name and profile picture address that Google gives us when you sign in.
- What you say: the recording is turned into text and sorted, and the recording itself is not kept. The text of what you said and the organized note are saved to your account.
- Your spellings: words you correct, so they are written your way next time.
- How you use the app: counts of actions (a recording made, a task ticked, a limit reached, a plan opened), tied to your account and email, with your browser type and the rough location your internet address points to. Never the words of your notes.
- Your plan: whether you are on Free, Plus or Pro, and when. Card details go to Polar and never reach us.
- What you agreed to: when you buy a plan, the sentence you agreed to and the time.
- Messages you send us through the form on this page.
3. What we use it for
- To run the app: sign you in, sort what you say, keep your notes on all your devices.
- To keep each account inside the limits of its plan.
- To send the emails you signed up for: reminders for things with a date on paid plans, and on Pro a plan each morning and a review each week. You can switch these off in the app. We also send notices about a paid plan, such as its start and a yearly reminder that it renews, which cannot be switched off while you pay for it.
- To see what works and fix what does not.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and there are no ads. We do not use your notes or recordings to train AI models.
4. Who else handles it
These companies process data for us, only to provide their part of the service:
- Google: sign-in.
- Supabase: the database that holds your account and notes, in the United States.
- Cloudflare: the AI models that turn speech into text and sort it. Cloudflare states that it does not use this content to train models.
- Vercel: hosting of the website.
- Polar: payments. Polar is the seller of record for paid plans and handles your card, tax and receipts under its own terms.
- Resend: sending emails.
- PostHog: usage counts, in the United States.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone’s safety or our rights.
5. Who can read your notes
Other users cannot read your notes: the database only gives each account its own rows. We do not read your notes, except when you ask us for help with them or the law requires it.
6. What is stored on your device
The site keeps a few things in your browser’s storage so it works: that you are signed in, that you have seen the introduction, and any note that could not be saved while you were offline. Usage counting keeps its data in memory only and sets no cookie.
7. Do Not Track
We do not follow you across other websites. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, usage counting is switched off for you.
8. How long we keep it
Notes, spellings and your account stay until you delete them. Deleting your account erases them at once. Records of what you agreed to when buying a plan are kept for at least three years, as the law asks. Usage events are kept in PostHog; ask us and we erase the ones tied to you.
9. Your choices and rights
- See, change or delete any note in the app. Copy a note out with the copy button.
- Delete everything: in the app, tap your plan in the top corner, then “Delete my account”. It is erased at once and cannot be brought back.
- Switch emails off: tap your plan, then Emails.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct or erase it, with the form below. We answer within 30 days.
If you are under 18 and live in California, you can remove anything you have put into the app in the same ways. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom: we rely on our contract with you to run the app and on our legitimate interest to count usage and keep the service safe; you have the rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and you can complain to your data protection authority. Your data is processed in the United States.
10. Children
Bravogram is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, tell us with the form below and we will delete it. If you are under 18, use Bravogram only with a parent’s or guardian’s permission.
11. Security
Data travels encrypted, and each account can reach only its own rows. No system is perfectly secure; if something goes wrong that affects your data, we will tell you.
12. Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we say so in the app or by email before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
13. Write to us
Questions, a request about your data, a refund, or a problem with these pages: send it here and we answer by email.
